Ejendals is an international company with roots in Dalarna. The company was started in 1949 and is headquartered in Leksand. Ejendals specializes in developing and manufacturing quality products that protect hands and feet. Our products are marketed under the brands TEGERA® (gloves) and JALAS® (shoes). Ejendals has its own factory in Finland and a long-term collaboration with some selected factories in Asia.

Ejendal’s vision is “Zero injuries to hands and feet, for the benefit of the employee, the company and society”. Ejendals has around 430 employees in over 30 countries, of which about 150 works in Leksand.

As our current Training Manager has been given a new role internally, we now offer a fantastic career opportunity for you who want to take our training program to the next level. In the role of Training Manager, you have an important responsibility to develop the sales organization’s training program to ensure that employees’ knowledge and skills are the right ones.

As a Training Manager, it is important to have a global holistic perspective to ensure that training materials and courses are up-to-date, current, and effective so that we as an organization always have the best competence. It is therefore important that you curiously keep an eye on the outside world to always have the latest knowledge about new methods and techniques for training, as well as training requirements regarding the organization and the industry.

In the role, you work closely with a project manager and the salespeople around the world where your task is to understand their needs and train them in for example our offering, sales, and internal processes. You will also collaborate with suppliers and third-party training providers as well as with other key people in learning at Ejendals.

As we are a global company, and our sales organization is based in several countries, travel abroad is included about one week a month.

You report to the Sales Excellence Director.

About you
We are looking for you who have experience of coordinating and developing educations and educational materials. To thrive and succeed in the job, we believe that you need work experience from an international company or that you have worked globally. You also need to have experience from working close to or within a sales organization. Furthermore, you have a relevant university education, for example economy.

We prefer that you have experience from similar roles.

Of course, you are passionate about innovation and development, and you like both the operational and strategic work. You are curious and can easily keep up with new areas of knowledge as well as new ways of working and digital solutions.

As a person, you need to have a business acumen that means that you constantly look at the company’s best interests and understand where we need to develop skills, whereupon you create strategies, prioritize, and use resources in a way that creates added value for the organization.

You also need to have good communication skills where you convey messages in a simple way, both in writing and as a presenter, and you are responsive. You can work independently as well as in groups and have an open and flexible attitude with the ability to engage and influence other employees.

The corporate language is English, which of course presupposes that you handle the English language fluently, both written and oral.
